Maple Days - August 2, 2008 - Walled Lake, MI

Title: Maple Days Poster Design
Software: Illustrator

My extraordinarily creative and very good friend Scottie Magro has generously organized Maple Days – a one-day event of art, shopping, food and fun! Many talented Etsy artists will be selling handmade, unique art in the parking lot by Michigan Bead Supply on Maple Road (east and west of Pontiac Trail) in Walled Lake, Michigan. Several businesses will be hosting sidewalk sales and various restaurants will be offering delicious food and drink. Red balloons will indicate all participating proprietors. As a bonus, the Farmer's Market will also be open. It's really a day you don't want to miss!

Silly Monkey Designs

I recently opened up a Cafepress shop to sell some of my Silly Monkey designs. I thought it might be a good way to make some extra money to help pay for school. Available are various t-shirts for men and women, baby clothes and bibs, hats, tote bags and note cards. Check it out!

This is the logo I designed for the doggie bandannas I have created. They are now available for sale along with my other hand-made art. You can check them out on my Etsy site Barrel of Monkeys.

Owl for Abby

Title: Owl for Abby
Software: Illustrator
My niece Abigail recently had her 'Bridging to Brownies' ceremony. My sister asked me to design an owl for a tree to use as a prop for the ceremony (an owl is part of the Girl Scout story). I liked the little owl so much I decided to give him his own little world to reside in.
Congrats Abby! Love you!
